As a PADI Professional, you can do things others only dream of.
Whether you work in a local dive centre, at a resort or aboard a dive boat, the adventure of a lifetime is yours for the taking.
Imagine a job where you actually look forward to heading off to work in the morning. Lead a life others fantasise about. Sailing into incredible sunsets could be the rule, not the exception, especially if you work in a tropical dive destination. The commute to work could be as easy as a ten-minute boat ride. Work now becomes an adventure in itself.
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is the first portion of the PADI Instructor Development Course and is designed to provide PADI dive masters with additional training as instructional assistants and dive educators. It builds upon the dive master’s abilities to organise and supervise dive activities whilst concentrating on developing your teaching skills. You’ll not only gain experience as a PADI professional but also start learning the PADI system of diver education.
This is the first step on the PADI Professional Ladder. We run this course as an internship so you will gain more experience. During your course you will work with and assist your Instructor. This will help you gain problem solving and accident management skills. As a Dive Master you are considered a Role Model by Recreational Divers.
The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is the heart of PADI Instructor training. During the course you will apply your diving knowledge and skills whilst learning to use the PADI System of Diver Education, both in the classroom and in the water.
